Artists are needed for the 2012 Bellefonte Victorian Christmas Arts & Crafts Show to be held December 8th and 9th in locations in Bellefonte. Vendor Spaces vary in size. Some vendors buy two spaces for a double space. Vendors must provide their own tables and chairs. Attendance is required both Saturday and Sunday. Indicate on the application if you need electric outlets. Please bring your own extension cords. Some areas have no lighting outlets. We cannot guarantee that you will have access to power. Please note that items that are unusually creative receive higher consideration from the selection committee. Please, only hand crafted items. New applicants should include photos. Please do not submit an application if you and your assistants are unwilling to dress in Victorian costume both days. For women, long skirts and lacy blouses will do, while for men, dark trousers, vest and a ribbon tie are appropriate. Centre Coiunty Courts Notice

Effective June 11, 2012, through the end of the Commonwealth v. Gerald Sandusky trial, the Centre County Court of Common Pleas will offer Court related services to the public and their attorneys at a remote “satellite location” away from the Centre County Courthouse. Under special authority granted by the Chief Justice of the Commonwealth, the Centre County Prothonotary, the Centre County Public Defender and the Centre County Probation and Parole Department will establish “satellite offices” at the Lewis Katz Building of the Penn State Dickinson School of Law at the corner of Park Avenue and Bigler Road, University Park. Parking will be free to those accessing Court services at the Lewis Katz Building. The Prothonotary will be in Room 308 with hours from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The other Court offices will also be on the third floor. The building is fully ADA accessible, and the third floor is serviced by both stairs and an elevator. Due to limitations on electronic filing systems, the Prothonotary will not be equipped to accept Protection From Abuse or Emergency Custody Petitions at the “satellite location”. Some Court hearings will be held at the Lewis Katz Building during this period as well. ALL REGULAR OFFICES OF THE COURT WILL REMAIN OPEN AT THE COURTHOUSE THROUGHOUT THIS PERIOD, and these “satellite offices” are only being offered to supplement the existing offices, to aid the public’s access to justice throughout.
