The 2011 Centre County Outstanding Young Woman Scholarship Program will be held Saturday, October 2nd at 7pm in the Bellefonte High School Auditorium. Tickets are $12 and are available fram any of the finalist and at the door. Radio personality Stephanie Garrison will serve as Emcee for the evening. This scholarship and honors program recognizes, awards, and encourages excellence while striving to promote self-esteem. Since 1965, over 1,000 young women have participated in the Junior Miss/Outstanding Young Woman Program and over $200,000 in scholarships have been awarded.
