PIAA/SCASD Interscholastic Athletics Physical Exams

All students who wish to join a State College Area School District-sponsored PIAA sports team for the 2010 fall season must submit a signed and completed SCASD Parent & Athlete Waiver and Sports Selection (PAWSS) and a PIAA Comprehensive Initial Pre-Participation Physical Evaluation (CIPPE) on or before August 9 at 4:00 p.m. The PAWSS and CIPPE will be made available pending PIAA release. Each student and his/her family should schedule a physical evaluation with an authorized medical examiner privately. Exams may be performed on or after June 1.

Seniors, age 60 and above, living on a limited income, may be eligible to receive free monthly food packages through the Commodity Supplemental Food Program. Registering for this USDA funded program allows qualified seniors to receive nutritious foods to supplement their diet at no cost.
