The St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, Westerly Parkway in State College, will
have Bag Sale Days December 15-23. Full bags cost $5 and may include clothing, shoes, books, housewares and toys. Store hours are Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Income from these sales go directly to help those who are in need of assistance. The store will close for Christmas December 23 and reopen January 5.

The Nittany Leathernecks Detachment of the Marine Corps League is conducting its 22nd Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. The annual kickoff breakfast will be held at the Ramada Inn State College November 17 at 8:30 a.m. Brant Pasquinelli is this year's chairperson and the public is invited to attend. The cost is $11 per person and reservations must be made to Gene Weller at (814) 234-9831 before November 13. Toys will be collected until December 15 and must be new and unwrapped.
