Andrew Lala will exhibit a collection of photographs entitled Yesterdays News…a Continuing Reality in North Halls’ Cultural Lounge of Warnock Commons, on Penn State’s University Park campus from August 21 through December 14 as part of Art on the Move program. These photographs illustrate the ongoing hardships and sustaining hope that the residents of New Orleans continue to live with in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

The Nittany Leathernecks Detachment of the Marine Corps League is conducting its 22nd Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots campaign. The annual kickoff breakfast will be held at the Ramada Inn State College November 17 at 8:30 a.m. Brant Pasquinelli is this year's chairperson and the public is invited to attend. The cost is $11 per person and reservations must be made to Gene Weller at (814) 234-9831 before November 13. Toys will be collected until December 15 and must be new and unwrapped.
