Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event
Why: To safeguard children, pets and emergency responders and to protect our environment.
When: Friday, April 27, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 28, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Centre County Recycling & Refuse Authority located at 253 Transfer Road near the Nittany Mall off Route 26.
What: Insecticides, weed killers, pool chemicals, cleaners, poisons, corrosives, fl ammables, oil based paints, CFL bulbs and most other hazardous chemicals from households only.
We are not accepting latex paint, used motor oil, medications and alkaline batteries. Please call with any questions.
